Midewivan Sacred Tobacco Plant Growth

As I understand it, Midewivan Sacred Tobacco is a traditional blend cultivated by Native Americans. I may be mistaken, but that's what I've read.

My overall view on this plant so far is that it grows taller and more sparse than the other varieties I have grown. However, though the leaves are sparse, they appear much more promising in the way of resultant smoke. Unfortunately, curing tobacco properly takes at least a year so I have not had the good fortune to try a healthy sampling of Midewivan Sacred Tobacco to date.

This plant was planted in the end of November, 2007 and germinated around the first of December 2007. Tobacco in general seems to germinate quickly.

For those that don't know, tobacco seeds are extremely small and are planted on top of the soil and kept moist. My method is to put the seeds in a container with a small amount of water. This is then used to water the soil where you want the tobacco to grow.

The Midewivan Sacred Tobacco was one of the first of my tobacco varieties to germinate and begin to take shape.
